Why this exists
Since Ontario opened a regulated, competitive iGaming market in April 2022, the number of sites competing for Canadian players has grown quickly, and so has the gap between what a homepage promises and what actually happens when you try to withdraw. We started this site to close that gap with direct, first-hand testing rather than recycled marketing copy.
What we refuse to publish
We don’t publish paid rankings, and no operator can buy a better position on this site. We don’t run individual “review” pages dressed up as independent opinion when they’re really just reformatted press material — if we haven’t tested something ourselves, we don’t present it as tested.
How we’re funded
We earn affiliate commission on some outbound links, disclosed plainly in our terms and on relevant pages. That commission has no bearing on how a site is described here.
Editorial line
We write for readers in Canada, using Canadian law, Canadian regulators and Canadian helplines as the reference points — not the rules of a different market translated over.
Who writes it
Our editorial content is written by Grant McKendrick — read more about his background on his author page.
